TAIL GATE KIT FOR BASE JUMPING

The Tail Gate was first introduced by Basic Research (now known as Apex BASE) in the mid 1990’s. Today, all BASE manufacturers use the Tail Gate to help prevent line-over malfunctions. It is a standard piece of safety gear on all BASE systems and nearly all BASE jumps, and we’re proud to have pioneered this piece of BASE technology.  The small rubber bands are 3/8 inch  (10mm) wide. It is recommend to cut them in half, to ~3/16 inch wide, for use on a tail gate.

The Apex BASE Tail Gate Kit includes 2 Tail Gates (anti-line over device), assorted rubber bands, and an Apex BASE pull-up cord.
