THE ALL-AROUND, DO-EVERYTHING, GO ANYWHERE CANOPY FROM ATAIR
Atair’s OSP2 is an all-around BASE canopy that brings joy and confidence to slider-up jumps and excels when your slider is removed.
Atair has refreshed the design of the original OSP, retaining all the great features of the original whilst improving the overall performance of the wing. The OSP2 has a similar horizontal speed to the original OSP, but with improved glide. As standard the OSP2 includes 5 bottom skin vents, a ZP leading edge, a forward top skin slat system, and mini stabilizers on the bottom of the canopy.
The ZP leading edge has been improved using the same split panel technique as seen on the Atair Vision, reducing sink rate and increasing performance.
The bridle attachment point has been moved further back, toward the canopy tail. This design feature helps evenly apply tension from the PC to the lines during opening, improving opening behavior and reducing the chance of tension knots. The tail pocket design has been improved to reduce weight, and the brake lines are now continuous without cascade loops to further reduce the risk of tension knots. The brake settings are now made from Spectra improving durability and increasing the life of your lower control lines.
The OSP2 can be ordered in either F-111 (standard weight) or PN9 lightweight material. As standard, the OSP2 is equipped with white Dacron lines. Black lines are available at an additional cost. The center tail gate and brake lines are red for contrast and easy packing. Black reinforcement tapes, thread, and a black OSP2 logo on the outer rib are available at an extra cost. As standard the canopy is equipped with rapid (hard) links or optional soft links.
